B & D Steel was founded in 1987 by President Doug Gould. The company’s primary business at the time was sorting and cutting secondary mill ends of tubing for wholesale re-sale.Through the years, the company switched over to a full line of prime steel products and gradually got out of the secondary market.

In 1999, President Doug Gould had his life cut short in a tragic automobile accident. Subsequently, his wife Suzanne Gould stepped up into the position of president and after a lot of hard work, carries on Doug’s legacy today. Doug and Sue’s children, Andrea and Garrett, both grown, now play an active role in the company.Today, B & D Steel inventories thousands of grades and sizes of aluminum, carbon steel and stainless steel and offers many value added services. President Suzanne Gould takes comfort in knowing that Doug would be proud and happy with the continued growth and success of the company.
