Alaco Ladder Co.

The long and rich history of Alaco Ladder Company began with Los Angeles Ladder Company, which was founded in 1883. Throughout the next several decades they manufactured wood fire ladders, step stools, ironing boards, surf boards and more.

The Los Angeles Ladder Company eventually merged with ALAD Ladder Company, and by the late 1970’s the company morphed into the Alaco Ladder Company of today. Since then, Alaco has become an industry stalwart by manufacturing comprehensive lines of top-quality fixed access, library, loft, fire and special purpose ladders, as well as platforms, cages and stepstools.

The dedicated and skilled ladder craftsmen of Alaco are a special breed, some having been with the company for three decades or more with several dating back to the Los Angeles Ladder Company or ALAD days.
