TK Metals

TK Metals is a full-service sheet metal fabricator located in Shawnee, Kansas.  Our capabilities include shearing, punching, plasma cutting, laser cutting, press brake bending, milling, sawing and welding of carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminum up to 3/4' thick and 14 feet in length.  Although we primarily sell to industrial customers, sales to the general public are welcome.  We hold some of the tightest tolerances in the industry, and are capable of both long and short run jobs.  Our quality workmanship has quickly earned us a reputation as one of the area's premiere fabricators.  We specialize in multi-axis bending operations, precision cutting, and custom welding.  Quick turnaround and on-time delivery is what you can expect from TK Metals.

With degrees in both Business and Computer Information Systems, Troy Krentzel had a firm footing when he accepted a position at the largest machine tool manufacturer in the world.  Spending most of his time traveling between manufacturing centers and trade shows, he helped many companies push the envelope of their capabilities.  Speaking at such prestigious venues as IMTS, Metalform, and FabTech, business people from around the globe gathered at his seminars to learn of new technologies and their applications.  After many years based out of Los Angeles, Troy left his position of Product Manager to pursue a more important role as husband and father in Kansas City.  Starting a family-owned business and pushing the limits of metal fabrication and production is a completely natural progression for this entrepreneur. 

With a construction background and experience ranging from millwright to GM, Ralph Scott understands all aspects of manufacturing.  Ralph has worked for the largest companies in our industry as well as America's largest steel service center.  His titles have included Project Manager, Project Estimator, Senior Buyer, Fabrication Manager, and General Manager.  Ralph understands the ever-changing steel market, and is able to react on the behalf of our customers.  This enables TK Metals to always stand behind our quotes while giving our customers their best value.  Oh, and you probably won't ever meet a nicer guy.
