Stone Sand Co., Inc. began as Du Bois Sand Company back in the 1930s. In 1963, it became Stone Sand Co. and was incorporated in July of 2000. We have served Central Kansas for over 5 decades, and will be serving you for many more years to come.

Nelson Stone became the President of Stone Sand Co. when he was born. He grew up coming to work with his mother and father every day since he was 4 days old. This business is what he was destined to do.

In 2007, he was interviewed by the Great Bend Tribune and was quoted, 'It was already a successful company, and I've been around it all my life. It is all I've ever known. It's what my mother and father worked their whole lives for me to have. My mother and father poured their heart and soul into it. I have a son growing up in the business just like I did, and I hope to build a business for him to have if he wants it.'
