American Fabricators

American Fabricators, Inc. (AFI) was founded in 1984. From modest beginnings in a rented warehouse, AFI has grown into one of the premier sheet metal fabrication job shops in the United States serving a diversified customer base spanning several different industries. We currently employ approximately 150 associates and have over 100,000 square feet of total manufacturing space. A big contributor to AFI's success and constant growth over the last 30 years is based on fostering a culture of customer focus and constantly improving the quality of our products and processes. AFI's efforts towards continuous improvement and operational excellence have resulted in numerous 'Preferred Supplier' ratings from our customers, as well as being selected as Nashville's Small Business of the Year.

AFI currently has 16 N/C Turret Punches, 7 Lasers, 28 Brake Presses, and 18 Weld Stations. In addition to standard sheet metal fabrication capabilities, AFI also offers Hardware Insertion, Value-Added Assembly, and Metal Finishing capabilities. To supplement our in-house capabilities, AFI utilizes a network of business partners to offer other sub-contracted services such as machining, powder coating, and plating.
