My career started at an entry level labour position and through focusing on this one objective, I have grown my expertise to Owner and Operator of Furlong Steel.”

OUR FACILITIES

Furlong operates out of a large facility located in SE Calgary, in the Foothills Industrial Park. Our facility includes a 38,000 sq ft fabrication shop, 2,400 sq ft explosion proof coatings area and 3,000 sq ft indoor sandblasting building. The close proximity of these three areas allows Furlong Steel to be more efficient with each project and handle a project from “Start to Finishes”, all with one point of contact.

Structural Steel Fabrication

Furlong Steel’s fabrication team includes between 35 and 40 experienced employees as Journeymen Steel Fabricators, CWB-Certified Welders and Industrial Painters. With little to no employee turnover, Furlong offers clients reliability, quality workmanship and the ability to deliver on time and on budget.We are able to accommodate projects as large as 25 ft wide and 92 ft long and Furlong has a proven track record of supplying 200 tons of finished structural steel per month, making our facility one of the largest capacity shops in Calgary. Furlong has completed many skid packages, pipe rack modules, platform systems and, ladders. While we specialize in SAGD and Gas Plant construction site supply, our capabilities go beyond the Oil and Gas market and include Agriculture and Development projects.
