Mechanical Fabrication Group

Mechanical Fabrication Group provides quality metal fabrication, on site installation and welding services of new or used products to a variety of industrial and municipal customers. Started in 1996 as a partnership between Ray Clugston and Chris Buck, the company was first known as C&R Fabrication. The company began as a fabrication operation in a small shop just outside of New Holland, PA.

In 2003 C&R Fabrication merged with Ace Mechanical, an installation company that had been working with C&R Fabrication for many years. The new company was called Mechanical Fabrication Group, effectively combining the fabrication and installation work of both companies under one roof. As a result of the merger, the company moved to a new 10,000 square foot facility to house the equipment and personnel from both companies and make way for expansion.

In 2007, Ray and Chris started another company to sell metal highway products. Partner Chris Buck left Mechanical Fabrication to handle sales for the new company. He still maintains a partnership with Ray and the new highway products company contracts with Mechanical Fabrication to manufacture all their highway parts.Today Mechanical Fabrication employs a shop foreman and a 5-man crew with over 25 years' experience to handle a diverse array of metal fabrication, welding and installation projects. Owner Ray Clugston still works in the shop from time to time to keep things running smoothly.

• Mechanical Fabrication has the skills and experience to complete metal fabrication projects large and small in a wide array of industries. We maintain a 10,000 square foot shop where we can shear (1/4' x 10'-0), bend (12'-0 - 225 ton) and roll (10 ga x 60') steel, aluminum and stainless steel. We also offer AutoCAD based CNC gas and plasma shape cutting of steel, aluminum and stainless steel.
• We understand that most of our clients have specific timelines for completed work. We offer some of the fastest turnaround times in the industry and work with your schedule to get you what you need when you need it most.
• We love the work we do everyday and it shows in the quality we produce. Whether we're fabricating aerial fire truck parts, bridge guard rails, industrial air ducts, or even a moose head mailbox, we focus on the details of every project to ensure quality work at a reasonable price. 
• Owner Ray Clugston has been working in the metal fabrication industry since 1971. We also employ a shop foreman and crew with over 25 years' experience in metal fabrication and installation. Together, we've worked on countless jobs for a wide variety of industrial, commercial and municipal customers since 1996.
