Prime Plating

Since 1986, Prime Plating’s staff of over 80 technical, production and support personnel has provided high-quality, precision metal finishing services to commercial, military and aerospace specifications at our 30,000 sq. ft. facility. Our mission is to do whatever is necessary to meet the customers’ requirements: from high volume commercial work to the strictest aerospace tolerances. Our quality staff has a tremendous technical background and is lead by Chemical Engineers. We use strict controls throughout our facility to provide consistent repeatability and the majority of our plating baths are our own proprietary formulations. This allows us to titrate solutions immediately for superior consistency and virtually eliminate downtime.

Prime Plating is Southern California’s largest hand-operated plating and anodizing company. The manual processing permits intricate cleaning and special operations during processing, including: insertion of conforming anodes, rotating parts, multiple positioning and a variation in processes not afforded to an automated, fixed production line. 

Combining modern, high-tech analytical control procedures with hands-on craftsmanship enables Prime Plating to process the most complex parts at the highest level of quality possible with fast turn around.
