Malloy founded his Inglewood, CA, general engineering contracting business, taking the tough jobs too small for larger contracting companies to handle. Emmett’s focus on quality work and customer service helped his business become a leader in the Southern California construction industry. His son, Tom Malloy, launched Trench Shoring Company in 1973 to meet the unique shoring needs of general contractors, focusing on public works projects. Tom’s commitment to help keep contractors safe in the trenches through excellent, consistent service . Malloy credits much of the company's recent expansion and success to the involvement of his children, Kevin (President), Bridgett (Vice President), Kelley (Vice President) and Ryan (Lake Forest location Branch Manager). Each joined Trench Shoring Company after gaining valuable experience at other companies. Select Fabrications Company (SFC) is a full service steel fabricator with a California state C-51Contractors License, and is certified by the AWS and City of Los Angeles. All phases of your project,from engineering, detailing, fabrication, and erection, including repairs, are managed at SFC. SFC prepares estimates from your plans and specifications and quality fabrication is ensured by in-house quality control, with third party contract inspections as required.
