At Steelmet our motto is 'When you're ready for the real stuff.' We are your one stop shop when you are looking for something unique for your home, garden or DIY project.We believe in keeping strong ties in our community, and are pleased to support worthwhile causes as our way of thanking Saskatoon for its support over the years. We've engaged in many worthwhile causes, including the arts, animal rescue, the Children's Hospital Foundation and Easter Seals. We are always on the lookout for new community groups and events to offer support, so get in touch with us if you have a worthwhile event that needs a little help.

Our metal supply department carries a wide range of steel, copper, aluminum, and metal accessories for projects small and large, interior designers, Do-It-Yourselvers and contractors. We can cut and bend our metal products to your specifications. Just get in touch!We strive to carry only the best quality brands at our store, many of which are exclusive to us in Saskatoon and Saskatchewan.

History

Steelmet began as a small family owned and operated steel supply warehouse in 1980. It quickly grew into a large steel shop and began doing custom bending and drilling for our clients.In the late 1990s, we added the decorative and furniture division, specializing in items with a metal theme. We strive to find the newest and most unique pieces available, carry a variety of one of a kind, hand made products from various artists both local and from around the world.In 2006, the Rick Leier family of Rely-ex Contracting Inc., a local contracting and construction company, purchased Steelmet. In doing so, Steelmet has remained family owned and operated. Since then we have introduced many new and exciting lines, including Seaside Casual, our line of recycled plastic patio furniture.
Today, Steelmet is known for it's high quality furniture and decorative pieces along with unique jewelry and of course, our metal supply warehouse. At Steelmet we strive to carry a wide range of unique and funky pieces from across Canada and around the world, and the top quality metal sourced from top distributors.
