History
Sharp Industries is a Saskatoon based company founded by Brodie Mitchell and Jillianna Steacy. Mitchell grew up in Coronach, Saskatchewan where he spent many hours mastering the skill of calf roping. His interest in working with his hands began at a young age when he built miles and miles of fence for local farmers and helped his dad repair various pieces of farm equipment. After high school, he left Coronach to pursue a post-secondary education in the trades and has since earned journeyman certification as a: Millwright and Welder. Mitchell has experience in the construction industry, mining industry, and oil industry. In 2007, he bought his first mobile welding truck, and now ten years later Sharp Industries has grown from a one-man gig to a company of over 16 employees, six portable welding trucks and a modern fully equipped fabrication and welding shop. Mitchell never loses sight of what makes a company successful - solid work ethic, determination, impeccable skill, a positive attitude and a dedicated team.
