Rechant Precious Metals

Rechant Precious Metals was established in West Palm Beach in 1975 shortly after the ownership of gold was legalized for all U.S. citizens. Unlike other coins shop in South Florida, Rechant Precious Metals, not only carried collector's coins and supplies, we also stocked gold and silver bullion. In 1976, Rechant Precious Metals was one of the first companies in Florida to sell the South African Krugerrand bullion gold coins. We also quickly became the source for bullion gold for many South Florida jewelers. Prices of precious metals rose quickly in 1976 and 1977. The increased demand for precious metals and coins helped us grow rapidly. In September of 1977, we purchased a 3000+ square feet building located at 1730 South Congress Ave. in West Palm Beach, Florida. We have been located here for over 30 years.As the precious metals prices rose to record high in 1980, so did Rechant Precious Metals. In 1986, Rechant Precious Metals became an authorized dealer for the U.S. Mint Eagle Bullion coins. In 1987, we became a Professional Coin Grading Service (PCGS) authorized dealer. Later, a National Guaranty Corp (NGC) authorized dealer. Over the years, we continued to grow and expanded our services in the precious metals and numismatic field
