MANUFACTURING

Precision cutting of materials using Amada Plate and Tube Laser, Haas CNC Machining Centers, Omax 5-Axis Waterjet, Metl-Saw Non-Ferrous Precision Plate saw, ESAB Hi-Def Plasma, Bundle cutting Hem Saws and Vertical Left & Right Angle Cutting Hem Saw. Take the cut parts to the 320 or 175 ton Brake, the 12ft. wide Shear, Plate roller, or CNC Punch for further processing. Viking Blaster removes mill scale.

FABRICATION

AISC certified for light structural and metal components. American wire is used to weld aluminum, stainless and steel: SMAW, GTAW, GMAW, Flux Core Arc WeldingTwo (2) ARC Mate Fanuc 120iC Robot Welders with R30IA Controllers are the newest addition to the equipment lineup increasing our capacity.

QMF Steel supplies, manufactures and fabricates aluminum, stainless and steel products for use in manufacturing plants, hospitals, commercial food plants, military bases and distribution centers. Customer provided engineered drawings or QMF engineered drawings in Solidworks.

AISC Certified

QMF is certified for Bridge and Highway Metal Components and Steel Building Structures. Catwalks, Handrail, Pedestrian Rail, Ornamental Fence, Canopies, Shelters, Bollards, ITS Equipment Arms and Hangers, Pedestrian Bridge, Barrier Gates, Sign Structures and Posts and Anchoring Systems.

MANUFACTURING & FABRICATION
QMF has a full line of state-of-the-art equipment to manufacture the component parts that are used by the certified welders to fabricate, assemble and weld the products made for heavy highway, light rail and commercial construction.QMF can provide a faster turnaround using Solidworks engineering software. Programmed files are pulled from the network to the plate and tube laser, 5-axis waterjet, plasma and the machining centers. ISO and AISC quality steps are followed throughout each production process through to loading on the QMF truck.The plant floor is organized to create a continuous flow of work from receiving to production to shipping.
