The Kentucky Heat Treating Company was founded in 1967 in Georgetown, Kentucky to service the Lexington IBM typewriter plant and other commercial accounts in the area. It was located in a 16,000 sq ft plant and utilized batch integral quench equipment. In 1981, the company was sold. Since that time there have been many changes and considerable growth both in size and equipment. In 2004 the company relocated to Winchester Kentucky and is currently occupying a building of 65,000 sq ft. Over the years, due to customer requests, we have added a number of new furnaces. 

Kentucky Heat Treating provides many heat treating services for ferrous and aluminum alloys. Utilizing the latest in processing, and monitoring technology, we are capable of meeting or exceeding our customer's requirements in both a timely and cost effective manor.Our highly skilled staff lends expertise to our ability to develop critical mechanical and microstructural properties to meet any customer's specifications.With our own in-house metallurgical laboratory, we are able to test and develop processing techniques and ensure the highest level of quality. Kentucky Heat Treating's commitment to quality can be seen in our ISO 9001:2008 certification and our compliance with AIAG's CQI-9 guidelines.
