Versatility Tool Works and Manufacturing

Versatility Tool Works and Manufacturing Company is located in Alsip, Illinois, just 20 miles southwest of Chicago. VTW is a leader in the manufacturing of precision tooling and sheet metal products. Established in 1972 as primarily a tool and die operation, the company’s product line has grown into one of the most diverse in the industry. The company employs about 25 workers and doubled their shop space by moving into a second facility.

As children, we grew up in the metal machine shop alongside of our father, an expert tool and die maker. He taught us to not only the craft of tool making, but also the European tradition of achieving excellence through precision. Over the years, we came to call this “The power of precision,” and it is the foundation upon which we have built our business.
