Flowline Alaska, Inc.

Flowline Alaska, Inc. was founded in 1981, initially providing services to the oil companies developing and operating the oil fields in Alaska. Original operations were focused on the insulation of steel pipe that was destined for installation on the North Slope. Since this time Flowline has diversified operations to provide corrosion coatings, pipe spool fabrication, double joint welding and module/skid fabrication to our portfolio of services. Flowline Alaska is a privately held, family owned and operated company.

Flowline Alaska’s philosophy is to provide the highest quality products and services to support companies developing the North Slope of Alaska.Today, Flowline has four production facilities encompassing over 62,000 square feet of enclosed production area. We have 42 acres of land in Fairbanks offering substantial area for both material handling and short or long term staging. Flowline maintains two dedicated rail spurs at our production site and are centrally located to allow for expeditious receipt and delivery of materials via truck and/or air freight. Pipe for large pipeline projects is typically received via the rail/rail barge system.

Flowline Alaska is fully committed to the quality of its products and services. Flowline maintains a Quality Control laboratory that is the most comprehensive polyurethane insulation testing laboratory in Alaska. Through the application of data and findings from the Quality Assurance Lab we have developed extensive quality control procedures and test methods for evaluation of polyurethane insulation and corrosion coatings. We are continually researching new materials as well as application procedures and processes, working with Owner Engineering companies and suppliers to develop and maintain the best quality possible.

PERSONNEL

Flowline Alaska has grown a superior team of Engineers, Quality Assurance, and Project Support personnel.Our team employs two State of Alaska Licensed Professional Engineers (Mechanical and Civil disciplines), three NACE (National Association of Corrosion Engineers) certified coating inspectors, three AWS (American Welding Society) Level-I Certified Welding Inspectors (CWI), two full-time QA/QC personnel, a dedicated materials coordinator and AutoCAD drafter as well as additional project management/office support.
