IEI Story / History

In 2010, the site was purchased by one of its long time customers, ILSCO Corporation. ILSCO is a privately held corporation headquartered in Cincinnati, Ohio. A major manufacturer of branded products and components for the electrical and energy markets, ILSCO’s footprint includes complimentary operations in three countries and four U.S. states. ILSCO Corporation was founded in 1896, and, like its latest acquisition, has had a long-standing tradition of excellence in the markets it serves.

Originally occupied by Werner Co. and then Signature Aluminum, this expansive industrial campus is comprised of 165 acres of land and almost 700,000 square feet of buildings under roof. The main plant boasts a cast house, four extrusion presses ranging from 6 to 10 inches in diameter, and significant fabrication, assembly and warehousing space. The property is currently home to multiple tenants and opportunities for significant expansion readily exist.
