Since 1985 we’ve delivered quality metal manufactured parts, components and fully assembled products for clients in the Midwest and across the country. Our capabilities encompass a full range of services from engineering and prototyping, to large and small scale production, to order fulfillment and “turn-key” product lines. Privately held, IntoMetal employs a full time production, engineering and administrative staff of nearly 50 and operates 2 facilities totalling almost 35,000 sq ft.

We are driven to grow our business through excellent quality, competitive pricing, on time delivery, uncommon customer service, excellence in operations, and a constant drive to find new ways to add value in our relationships.

HISTORY
Starting in 1985 as a supplier to the brick industry, IntoMetal grew in the following years with the expansion of the regional lawn and turf industry. To this day, IntoMetal continues to supply a large volume of components, powder coated weldments, and even complete units to some of the best known names in personal and professional turf care.

In late 2011, IntoMetal was purchased from the original owners by Kinney Manufacturing, a family owned company whose CEO, Randy Kinney, already had a long and successful career in manufacturing and industry. Holding a Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the South Dakota School of Mines, and a MBA from Rockhurst University, Randy’s career began in the early 1990s with Exxon Mobil. After success with Exxon, Randy went on to serve with UCB, Innovia, Lincoln Industries, and most recently was VP of Operations for GT Exhaust.Since the transfer of ownership, IntoMetal has grown its business by expanding strongly into agricultural and industrial parts and products, made significant investments in new equipment, improved safety, quality, and the training process of new employees.
