1952 Rudolf leaves Germany with his family and arrives in New York  1959 Rudolf moves to California and starts Wallner Tooling & Stamping  1968 Wallner’s first expanded metal machine prototype is developed  1972 Wallner Tooling & Stamping builds 4 expanded metal lines to produce automotive air filter outer and inner wraps  1975 Introduces expanded metal as a replacement for welded wire used in filter media backing  1977 Expac is created and becomes the supplier of HVAC material  1978 Land acquired in Rancho Cucamonga, CA for growth and what is to become company headquarters  1980 Wallner Tooling & Expac hosts a grand opening for its 16,000 sq. ft. facility  1988 Expac expands operations to Kennesaw, GA to support East Coast markets  1990 Expac merges with Wallner Tooling to form Wallner Tooling/Expac  1997 Rancho Cucamonga facility expands by 24,000 sq. ft. to accommodate HVAC growth  1998 Kennesaw facility expands by 23,000 sq. ft. to support continued growth of East Coast markets  2001 Wallner Tooling/Expac expands operations to Gumi, South Korea and establishes a partnership with Samkwang Electronics Group to create Samkwang Wallner Co. LTD  2004 Wallner relocates to a newer building in Rancho Cucamonga to support freight logistics  2007 Wallner Tooling/Expac significantly increases HVAC production capacity through a strategic acquisition  2013 Wallner Tooling/Expac hosts an open house to showcase new equipment in the Diversified Products Division  2014 Wallner Tooling/Expac awarded U.S. Patent No. 8,696,781 for X-Mesh  2015 A second Kennesaw, GA building opens exclusively for the Diversified Products Division. Wallner Tooling/Expac rebrands its name to Wallner Expac.
