Kirsh Carton Co.
384 W Main St, Benton Harbor,, United States | Cardboard Recycling
Kirsh Carton was founded more than 50 years ago by three brothers who saw an opportunity to recycle bags. In the days when sugar, beans, and flour were shipped in cotton bags and potatoes hauled in burlap bags; they would buy, repair and resell the bags.
As producers changed their method of shipment, the business gradually changed from selling bags to selling corrugated cartons. The brothers branched out and each began their own business. Herman Kirshenbaum was the founder of Kirsh Carton Company. His son, Ben Kirshenbaum, is the second generation and present owner.
In this day and age when recycling is an important issue, we can be of service ecologically also. Trees, air and water are saved every time a corrugated carton is reused.
