Generation 4 Recycling Group

My family has been in the scrap metal recycling business for the better part of the last century.

My great-grandfather emigrated from Italy in the early 1900's and started the family business with a horse and wagon. He and my grandfather would go around the streets of Utica, New York picking up scrap paper and rags. My grandfather later purchased a truck and brought the business to the next level.

I worked processing metals in our scrap yard, buying metals over our scale, and putting together scrap metal management programs for the likes of GE and Pratt & Whitney. To say I have worked in this business my entire life is not an overstatement.

My forbears taught me that to be successful in our industry one must use common sense, be an independent thinker, be honorable, keep your word, and always put the customer first. The scrap management programs that we have put in place at Generation 4 always reflect these principles.

It is no coincidence that our success at Generation 4 has been a byproduct of our heritage, creative thinking, and tireless work ethic.
