The Steel Tube Institute (STI). STI is dedicated to advancing the growth and competitiveness of North America’s steel tubular products. By representing the manufacturers of steel tubes and those in affiliated industries, our strength is bringing together resources to move the industry forward through active collaboration. Our primary focus is in areas that include innovations in production and manufacturing methods, exchanging technical knowledge and expertise, impacting codes and specifications, and increasing marketplace knowledge.  We also seek to inform specifiers, consumers and end-users about the utility and versatility of steel tube and pipe by offering educational support through seminars, presentations, publications and more. Our website has grown in recent years to become the hub for these materials, so I encourage you to spend some time reviewing all our product areas and the wealth of  information contained within each.  For those of you considering membership, please let this be just your first step in getting to know us at STI.
