Specialty Processing LLC.

Founded by the Del Medico family in 2007, Specialty Processing LLC. was founded to work with the challenging material streams coming from tire plants in the Midwest. Specialty Processing established themselves by taking hard to handle waste streams to no cost to the plant and eventually to revenue items.

The lessons and methods learned from working in this tough sector have translated to success in the more traditional fields of metal and plastic recycling. From this small beginning Specialty Processing has grown to handle several Fortune 500 companies’ waste streams. This culminated with over 52 million lbs of waste processed and averted from landfills in 2011.
