Our Aluminum extrusion plant, located in the heart of the Midwest, ofers custom auminum extrusions engineered for a variety of industries. Our 1800 ton 7' and 2500 ton 8' extrusion presses give Patrick the flexibility to sere our customers needs on a timely basis. Whatever your extrusion requirements, Patrick Metals has the technology and expertise to do the job right the first time and every time. From simple, light weight prfiles to complex shapes, we can extrude it.

Patrick Metals opened in the 1930s in Chicago,Illinois manufacturing desk lamps, lamps for ovens and back-up lamps for military vehicles. Moving to Elkhart,Indiana in the 1940s,Industrial Lamp moved into the manufacturing of aluminum and vinyl extrusion in the 60s and 70s.

Patrick Metals operated as a captive operation producing aluminum, vinyl and eventually extrusion products for internal use. A result of an early 1970s merger, patrick acquired a distribution outlet for additional aluminum and vinyl products in the recreational vehicle and manufactured housing industry.

However, gradual changes in the market, combined with additional capacity ( a new 1800-ton press in 1979), a new 20-foot vertical paint line in 1978, and a new aggressive management team steered the company into the custom aluminum market in the 80s.

Patrick metals began extruding for the architectural, office furniture and residential window industry along with many other specialty products. After several years of succesful expansion and growth, Patrick reached the full potential of their present facilities.
