Aegis Technology Inc. has extensive research, engineering and manufacturing capabilities specializing in high-technology materials, components and systems. The company is located in a modern industrial park in Southern California.

Aegis Technology Inc. has developed state-of-the-art technology ranging from high-performance joining technology and composites utilizing nanotechnology to high-efficiency, compact thermal management and power modules. These technologies have broad applications in defense, communications, transportation, energy and aerospace.

Aegis Technology is offering the products and services in the following areas:

• Brazing advanced joining and vacuum viewports
• Cryogentic ball milling and nanomaterials
• Thermal management and high temperature packaging
• SiC power modules and inverters

Aegis Technology also providees custom design, specific material and processing research (e.g. modeling and prototypes), and small-scale manufacturing per customers’ design.

Since 2002, Aegis Technology has developed leading scientific and engineering expertise in the development and fabrication of thermal management systems and high temperature packaging.  We have five PhD scientists and electrical engineers on our research team and a number of partners from national laboratories and universities.  Our projects have been funded via SBIR/STTR contracts from the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) and Department of Energy (DoE).  We also conduct multiple in-house projects related to the design of thermal management systems and high temperature packaging.

Aegis Technology uses various process techniques including cryogenic ball milling to synthesize a variety of nanostructured powders for protection coatings, high-strength alloys and composites, magnetic materials, thermoelectric materials, and joining materials. Aegis Technology can also consolidate various bulk nanostructured materials including high-strength alloys and composites, magnetic materials, thermoelectric materials, and high thermal conductivity materials.
