Located in the heart of Folsom, California, the foundation for Precious Gems Jewelers was laid in 1995 by Roman Oleynik - a second generation, Swiss-Certified watchmaker whose experience and expertise in the industry quickly developed a loyal clientele.  Led by Roman and his wife, Alla, PGJ has gathered a dynamic team of like-minded individuals who share the same passion for the profession: One jeweler has worked in the industry for over 20 years, and two additional watchmakers share over 40 years of collective experience between them.

PGJ offers a unique selection of current and vintage fine jewelry that displays premium craftsmanship. Whether you’re looking for today’s new styles and designs; antique/vintage jewelry, watches, and clocks; or a creative and personal custom-design item - you’ll find a wide and eclectic array of products from which to choose at PGJ. Our services range from simple ring sizing and complete restoration, to design and fabrication – as well as appraisals - all handled right here, on-site at our store.

Successfully handling the repairs and restoration of every type of timepiece is what sets PGJ apart – from heirloom pocket to quartz wristwatch to a 17th century fusee repeater. We maintain a large inventory of antique and vintage parts for many brands, and if we don’t have what we need in stock – we can make the parts ourselves to complete the job.  The list of watch brands we service is extensive - featuring a wide range that includes Rolex, Patek, Audemars, and Vacheron, to Accutrons and Hamilton electric watches, and beyond. Well-known for our collections of vintage pieces and antique jewelry, watches, and clocks for sale, PGJ specializes in buying and selling such items from estates, collectors, and individuals. Of particular interest are gold and platinum vintage or one-of-a-kind jewelry; both vintage and modern mechanical watches; old/antique clocks, and more. At Precious Gems Jewelers, we stand behind our products and the quality of our service. All jewelry comes with a lifetime warranty - provided that you come in for a complimentary cleaning and inspection every six months. And all watches and clocks receive a one-year warranty from date of purchase.
