Hernando Aluminum, Inc. was established in 1979 by Owner/President Marshall Maeder in response to one of the fastest growing counties in the State of Florida, Hernando County. A Pennsylvania born lifelong resident of Hernando County and Military Veteran of the United States Marine Corps, Marshall was employed by two major aluminum companies in the local area in which he later became the General Manager of one in Hernando County. After successfully opening his own company in 1979, Marshall Maeder purchased a parcel on State Road 50 in 1981 with the ambition of having a recognizable storefront for Hernando Aluminum, Inc. on a major highway in Hernando County. Currently, Hernando Aluminum, Inc. has remained at this location for over 30 years and has now expanded their serviceable areas into parts of Citrus, Sumter, and Pasco Counties.

As a family owned and operated business serving all of Hernando and parts of Citrus, Sumter, and Pasco counties Hernando Aluminum, Inc. sells, services, and installs a variety of exterior home improvement products for houses or manufactured homes. Services include but are not limited to: the installation of windows, doors, awnings, soffit & fascia, aluminum or galvalume roofs, wood decks, handrails, mobile home floor replacements, screen rooms, window screens, siding, gutters, room additions, carports, etc.Do-it-Yourselfers, handymen, and contractors also benefit from Hernando Aluminum’s well established storefront on Hwy 50. Whether it be basic screen room supplies, aluminum extrusions or sheet aluminum, many shapes, sizes, and styles are available in either patio or industrial aluminum products. Special order services are also available.In addition to product and material purchases, basic repair services are also offered at our storefront location such as rescreening and repair of screen doors, window screens, and garage screen sliders. Vinyl and acrylic porch enclosure windows are also repaired in house as an added service to our customers.Our well trained staff has a combined total of over 75 years experience in the aluminum and/or construction industry.
