For over five decades Dixon Jewellers has led the Ottawa market in both service and quality. Led by company founder and Master Jeweller, Ralph Dixon, the company is renowned for its honesty, diligence and innovative approach to manufacturing and design of fine jewellery.  Ralph Dixon, founder of R.L. Dixon Ltd., began his jewellery career at the tender age of 14 sweeping floors and running errands for Skelton Jewellers in Montreal. In the late 50’s, though only 25 years of age, he became a master jeweller, eventually creating dazzling platinum and diamond designs for many of the firm’s famous clients including Princess Margaret and President Eisenhower.  Originally founded as a full service design studio catering to the trade, R.L. Dixon Ltd. eventually opened a store front retail business focused on offering the best quality jewellery at the best price.Today, after 55 successful years in business, the majority of Dixon’s jewellery is still hand-made, custom-made and manufactured on the premises.
