MEET OUR TEAM

Trent Markwart – Owner  Trained in the jewellery arts throughout North America and moved back to Tisdale to work in the family business where he began as engraver when he was 8 years old! Trent currently serves as a councillor with the Town of Tisdale. Trent is an awesome resource and can often recognize an Engagement ring that needs a matching band a mile away!

Kim Markwart – Owner  With a background in Economics it was a perfect fit for Kim to join her husband in his family business. Kim serves on the Chamber of Commerce and on the Executive of Skate Tisdale. She loves to work customizing jewellery and finding homes for each treasure in the showcase.

Karen Hummel – Senior Sales Associate  Karen came to Markwart Jewellers after managing a retail store in the former Tisdale Mall. Karen is on the Executive of the Tisdale Trojans hockey club. She has an amazing eye for detail and can remember customers’ wish lists without even looking.

Ora-Lee Hankins – Sales Associate/Engraver  Ora-Lee joined our Markwart Jewellers family in 2014. Ora-Lee loves to craft and create in her spare time and we take full advantage of her display skills in the store. She is able to accessorize any outfit with jewellery and can personalize it all with engraving.

Sharon Hankins – Seasonal Sales Associate  Sharon a former teacher at TMSS with a love of jewellery and people joins our team throughout the year.
