Amys Jewelry Boutique

Amy opened Eden Jewelry in 1978, and ran the store from 1978 until 1999. She opened Amy's Jewelry Boutique with her husband, Larry, in 2004 and moved the store to the current location in 2009. 'Jewelry is not just gold or diamonds,' Amy explains. 'It's an emotional response. It's the pieces your mother or grandmother wore. It's given as a promise or to say 'I love you.' It's a piece a woman buys for herself when she's feeling down or celebrating. It's one of those things in life that goes on forever. Jewelry is friendship, personal growth, healing, a bond, self-affirmation, a life line, love and, occasionally, just plain gorgeous fun!'

    Joe Gerrish, Amy's son, has been in the jewelry business for over 15 years. He is a third-generation jeweler who is an excellent diamond and gemstone setter, and a great scale bench jeweler. He is honest and dependable. 'Mom and Dad taught me everything,' he said of his knowledge of the business. 'They sent me to jewelry school in Boca Raton, Florida. I learned basic repair and jewelry setting.'
