As the eldest son of Al of Al’s Jewellers, Allan Malbranck has been involved in the jewellery business since 1970. He apprenticed in engraving, goldsmith, and diamond buying under the guidance of his father and Jerome Malbranck at their Marion Street location; which first opened in 1951. After having managed the family business for several years, Allan and his wife Anita envisioned a new concept of luxury jewellery fused with an unparalleled level of integrity for a discerning clientele. They achieved this vision and opened the Diamond Gallery in 1992 on Corydon Avenue.  Allan and Anita’s eldest daughter Lisa now shares her considerable design talent and gemmological knowledge with the Diamond Gallery clientele, ensuring that the family business will continue for yet another generation. To this day, the Malbrancks continue to be on the cutting edge of jewellery design while remaining committed to the community that has supported them for over six decades
