During her 5 years of employment, she was trained to be a natural white and coloured diamond buyer. She attended many diamond conferences and visited the most prestigious trading centres around the globe to source and buy spectacular diamonds. She left in May of 2008 to establish her own business and further her expertise with vigorous training at the (GIA) Gemological Institute of America in New York, Vancouver and Taipei.  Monica is a graduate gemologist by GIA, accredited jewelry professional by GIA and graduate pearls by GIA.  Philip, who is Monicas husband co-founded ‘Secret Sapphire’ in June 2011 and is also an accredited jewelry professional by GIA.  ‘Secret Sapphire’ luxury jewelry will undoubtedly appeal to women and men of all ages.
