1932 East man returns with his family to ottawa where he expands his expertise taking up the watch making trade at ashop on sparks street 1936 alaways th enterprenuer Eastman Sets up on shop in his famil's living room on Gladstone Avenue Doing watch and clock repair for local jewellry stores and the public1937 during lean times eastman Would travel the halls of goverment offices  offerings hi swatch repair service complete with pick up and deleivery
