His creations are multi generational and his clients quickly become custodians of the art that he creates. Whether he is consulting on the road or designing masterpieces in his studio Murphy’s attention to detail is unsurpassed. As a third generation jeweler and a fourth generation Montanan, Murphy apprenticed under his uncle as a young man. For over 40 years he has continued the tradition of creating fine jewelry one piece at a time. With G.I.A. credentials, years of experience and a modern well equipped workshop almost any creative request is possible.

In 1983 Murphy was commissioned to design and create gold lapel pins containing Montana Yogo Sapphires for the Western United States Governor’s Conference. For years he worked as a consultant for jewelers across America and during this time also had the opportunity to work with the prestigious Caribbean firm of Spritzer and Fuhrmann, the jewelers to the royal family of the Netherlands. Murphy has created award winning works of jewelry art and continues to submit one of a kind pieces to juried shows both regionally and nationally. He is a member of Jewelers of America, Manufacturing Jewelers and Suppliers of America, and member of the New York Diamond Dealers Club. To create pieces that reflect your personality, unique gems, fine diamonds, and raw metals of the highest quality are brought in from around the world. These sources, suppliers and contacts were obtained through years of travel and are used in creating jewelry for the most discriminating clients. Fine diamonds are available set in traditional, contemporary or one of a kind creations. Most major diamonds include certificates from recognized gemological laboratories. The warm and intimate studio showroom provides a non-intimidating atmosphere.
