Steve Padis began his career as a jeweler during his senior year at the University of California, Berkeley, by stringing beads and selling them on Telegraph Avenue. By the time he graduated in the early 1970's, he had met his future wife, Judy (from whom he purchased findings), and had ventured into sterling silver, turquoise jewelry, and gold chain.  It was not long after, in 1974, he found his true passion for precious metals and diamonds with the inception of the Steve Padis Jewelry brand.  We have now grown to include four locations and are proud to have earned a reputation as one of the finest jewelers in San Francisco.     Now, some 40 years later, Steve's passion for jewelry has become his life's work. Padis Jewelry is a well-respected family-owned business operated by Steve, his wife, Judy, and their daughter, Alexis.  For years, jewelry buyers have had very few options.
