 In business since 1935, Corder’s Jewelry is one of the few independently-owned and family operated jewelry stores still running strong in Kentucky. Harold and his wife Gerema, credit the stores success to a combination of old-fashioned values, quality staff and leading-edge technology.

   Clients from eight counties shop Corder’s almost every week for their handpicked selection and individualized service. But, Corder’s also offers the advanced services that would otherwise draw customers away to larger companies, such as plating, laser-welding and computerized diamond analysis. Corder’s screens all of its diamonds for artificial color-enhancement and synthetics using the latest technology from around the world.

   In addition to diamonds, the 3400-square-foot store stocks a vast selection of colored gemstones, with lesser-known varieties well represented.
