GLADSTONE offers a carefully edited collection of unusual antique, vintage, and contemporary fine jewelry curated from around the world. Husband and wife team, Elaine Souza and Charles Gladstone combine their passionate and extensive knowledge of art, design, jewelry and fashion with a penchant for beautiful objects.  We are drawn to understated extraordinary pieces, regardless of age or origin. The collection focuses on timeless design, quality, innovation, and the beauty of mixing the old and the new. It is our desire to present the jewelry lover with a different point of view and shopping experience through a collection that is selective, wearable and elegant in its simplicity.  Non-precious materials such as ebony, shagreen, natural horn, and 19th Century ivory, coral, and tortoiseshell, are juxtaposed with silver, gold, platinum, diamonds, and semi-precious stones.

The contemporary fine jewelry we represent is a hand-picked selection of work by an exceptional group of international designers, as well as our own original designs.  Our gallery is located in the heart of downtown Manchester-by-the-Sea, Massachusetts. Complementing the jewelry you will find a noteworthy selection of fine art with exhibitions changing four times per year. The gallery shows paintings,  photography, and works on paper by well-known to emerging artists.  GLADSTONE also offers high quality jewelry repair and restoration services, custom design work, custom designer orders, and personal shopping on your behalf.
