Ford, Gittings and Kane Jewelers

Mr. Gittings: Joseph C. Gittings was one of the founding fathers of Ford, Gittings & Kane Jewelers in 1958. He has been the visionary and mentor to all who have joined the company. His dedication to fine quality diamonds, gemstones, and superior craftsmanship laid the foundation for the success of Ford, Gittings & Kane. Another of his passions is watchmaking, and he is a certified Rolex repairman. He continues to work at his bench when he is in the store. Mr. Gittings is Distinguished Eagle Scout and a World War 11 veteran.

He and his wife Joan raised five children and have seven grandchildren.  Alice: Alice is the President of Ford, Gittings & Kane. She is a Registered Jeweler and a Certified Gemologist Appraiser. When not working, Alice and her husband enjoy spending time with their two boys at the lake. She is a Registered Jeweler, Certified Gemologist Appraiser, and a Fellow of the American Gem Society. In her free time, Jan loves being with her family and spending time outdoors with her children and grandchildren. He is a Registered Jeweler, Member of the American Gem Society, GIA Graduate Gemologist, and an AGS Certified Gemologist. Having worked at the bench nearly 25 years, Jerome is a talented craftsman and his expertise continues to shine through in all of his custom work.  Jimmy: Jimmy is a Sales Consultant at Ford, Gittings & Kane. He has been with the company since 1998. When not working, Jimmy is usually watching Alabama football or cooking delicious meals for huge crowds.  Michele: Having grown up in the family owned Company, Michele is often working behind the scenes as our Marketing Director and assists in product selection.  Linda-Kay: Linda-Kay, a Certified Sales Associate, is often one of the first team members you will see out front. Joining us in 2010, she is very knowledgeable about the designer lines we carry, including William Henry, Charles Krypell, Bulova Accutron, and Chamilia, as well as our giftware lines. While not working, Linda-Kay loves spending time with her husband and children. She also enjoys sewing and crafts.  Krista: Krista is one of our helpful Certified Sales Associate. Her bubbly personality makes shopping fun and easy. In her spare time, Krista enjoys spending time with family and friends.  Lindsey: Lindsey joined our team as a sales representative in 2013 and is a great asset to our Company. From jewelry to gift giving, Lindsey is knowledgeable and eager to help.  Gabrielle: Gabbie is our in-house engraver here at Ford, Gittings & Kane. She is a very talented artist studying jewelry design and repair under the guidance of Jerome.  Jan Felts: Jan Felts is our pearl stringer, and she has been with FGK for over a decade. She takes special care to make your pearls and beads look like new by stringing them securely.
