For almost 20 years, King Fab has been producing heavy specialty steel fabricated products for a range of applications in the US and globally from our main 18-acre facility in Houston, Texas. Our integrated engineering design, fabrication and coating processes address customer requirements in the Marine, Industrial, Civil Engineering and Oilfield sectors, and we also produce precision components for other fabricators using a range of advanced machinery on site. Conveniently situated right on the Interstate Highway network, and adjacent to  Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH), we also have a marine yard on the Houston Ship Channel to facilitate barge shipment. Founded in 1997, King Fabrication, L.L.C. excels in heavy specialty structural fabrication. The goal from the outset was not to become the biggest, simply the best. Quality is the cornerstone of our production and safety is our most important goal. King Fab’s principal fabrications include Marine Structures, Barges, Unique Bridges and Deep Water Oil Field and Pipe Line Components. Our products can be furnished in a variety of material including Carbon Steel, High Alloy Carbon, Stainless Steel and Aluminum.

King Fab currently holds certifications from The American Institute of Steel Construction for the New Building standard (replaces the simple and complex structures certification), Major Bridge with the Fracture Critical endorsement, as well as the Sophisticated Paint endorsement. Specific production adherence to A.P.I., A.B.S., A.W.S. or job specific. Codes are the normal, not the exception.

Situated on 18 acres, and with close to 190,000 sq. ft. under roof, King Fab boasts a sophisticated array of production machinery and design technology, including AutoCAD, TEKLA and Fabtrol. Detailing and shop drawings are all completed in-house, thereby ensuring seamless transitions at critical stages of the project lifespan. We routinely participate in design-build projects, and we specialize in early involvement in projects, providing budget estimates as well as addressing constructability issues.One of King Fab’s unique advantages is the ability to construct fewer, larger modules for subsequent in situ installation. We fabricate components to the largest practical extent possible in our shop, thus greatly facilitating installation and optimizing the conditions for fabrication elements, including welding and coating.Strategically located in Houston, Texas, and with a marine yard on the Houston Ship Channel, we can load out and ship products not only across North America but around the world.
