How We Began

ASHLEY'S Distinctive Jewelry & Gifts was established in 1989 by partners Kerry G. Ruiz and Louis M. DellaVecchia. Together they bring over 40 years of experience of the jewelry industry.

As a jewelry manufacturer and leading retail jeweler, Ashley's designs and creates one of a kind items, from unique, hard to find wedding bands, to both traditional and casual jewelry and gifts.

Since the passing of his partner Louis in 2002, Kerry now runs the store with the help of his fiance' Carissa Fusco and their staff of professionals who include Master Goldsmith and Diamond Setter Kurt L. Schumann, Store Manager Annette O'Meara who brings with her numerous certificates from the Gemological Institute of America, and sales associate Jesalyn Lyman.

Ashley's core values were built on community and service. Serving our community is one of our best ways to give back to those in need. We are affiliated with professional organizations such as Jewelers of America and the Windsor Chamber of Commerce. 
We continue our ongoing relationships with Alex's Lemonade Stand, Sue's Classic, Community Health Resources (CHR) along with our local public schools. Continuing our efforts to build a stronger community, Ashley's works with the Windsor Chamber of Commerce Business to Business partnership employing local high school students who are interested in the jewelry/retail business. 

Ashley's continues to grow as we constantly search out the latest fashion designs in jewelry. Our newest lines include Julie Vos, In2 Designs, Cristina V, TiSento Milano, Alex and Ani, Freida Rothman and many more coming in. 

Our watch lines include Bulova, Caravell New York, Seiko, Citizen Eco-Drive, Daniel Wellington, Belair and 49watches. 

Unique gifts from hand blown Egyptian perfume bottles, silk scarves in beautiful colors and patterns, Fair Trade purses from Brazil, Solar Powered Globes, Bulova Clocks and so much more.
