The cooperative difference is what's driving Arrowhead Electric Cooperative into a multi-service electric cooperative now preparing to offer our member-owners advanced communications through the construction and operation of a fiber optic network which will deliver high-speed internet, phone and digital TV service.

When the Lutsen Light & Power Company turned off its lights for the last time, Arrowhead Electric Cooperative, Inc., or AECI, was there to turn them back on again. That was 1953, and since that day, we’ve worked to provide you with consistently reliable, completely safe, and environmentally friendly electrical power.
