The mission of Roosevelt Public Power District is to provide its consumers with safe, reliable and reasonably-priced electricity and other needed services that will improve their quality of life. To accomplish this mission, the board of directors, management, and employees are constantly looking for ways to improve, expand, and diversify our services and keep the price of electricity stable.

Roosevelt Public Power District is a service business. We recognize that excellent service, as perceived by our consumers, is essential for Roosevelt Public Power District to remain a vital and established entity for its consumers and the communities it serves. In all current and future programs and services, we pledge to be responsive to member needs and desires, and to communicate effectively with our consumers.

Roosevelt Public Power District's continued rate stability depends upon continued load growth and we will consistently promote the wise and efficient use of electricity by our consumers.

The board of directors and management of Roosevelt Public Power District recognize that our employees are one of the most important assets of the cooperative. To maintain a qualified, competent and efficient staff, we are committed to providing skills training and continuing education for employees. We strive to maintain an atmosphere where all employees can perform at their maximum potential and ability.

Roosevelt Public Power District (RPPD) is an electric distribution utility serving approximately 3,138 customers, with 680 miles of line.  Three counties are in the service territory: Scottsbluff, Sioux and Banner.  The RPPD headquarters is located west of Scottsbluff, NE at HWY 26 and County Road 19.  RPPD generates revenues primarily from retail sales of electricity.  The economy of our service territory is heavily dependent on agriculture.
