Kandiyohi Power Cooperative (KPC) is one of more than 1,000 consumer owned utilities in the U.S.  The nation's electric cooperatives are organizations with a strong past and a bright future.  As an electric cooperative we are part of the largest electric utility network in the nation, providing power to over 30 million consumers in 46 states, and serving more than 75% of the geographic area of the United States.

Our beautiful facility is located 3½ miles south of Spicer on Highway 23 in the Touchstone Business Park. We serve just over 8,100 consumers throughout Kandiyohi County and small portions of Chippewa, Stearns, and Renville County. Our cooperative is governed by a nine member board of directors who guide and direct our progressive cooperative.

It is the goal of Kandiyohi Power Cooperative to provide as much information about our Cooperative as possible to its members and the public; we do this through various communication vehicles such as this website, the member newsletter “The Kilowatt”, coffee shop meetings and our members' annual meeting. We do this because we believe that an informed membership and community helps us be a better business, improve our customer service and improve the quality of life for those we touch.

Go ahead and explore the many aspects of our website and of our cooperative and if you have questions that are not answered here, please do not hesitate to contact us. We look forward to hearing from you!
