Founded in 2003 by four operating partners, SEC Energy is a leading packager of large-scale natural gas compression equipment, and the only company in the industry to offer a full range of gas, electric and dual drive compressors.SEC Energy continues to focus on expanding capacity, services, and scope to keep pace with the demand generated by the growing importance of natural gas production in the United States, with a particular emphasis on meeting the needs of operators in liquids-rich plays.The newly renovated 350,000 square-foot Houston facility, ASME code compliant, features state-of-the-art fabrication and design equipment that enable SEC to meet each customer’s specific operating requirements from 50 horsepower up to 8,000 horsepower.Utilizing the newest cutting-edge equipment, SEC offers fast assembly services, skid and vessel fabrication, and re-vamp/engine overhaul services – all at one location. It is one of the few packaging and fabrication facilities in the country with an on-site Dynamometer to help customers get their equipment up and running faster.

SEC’s technical services group, which features truck-based compressor technicians, provides preventative maintenance to critical compression systems, as well as troubleshooting and high-quality repair services on-site. Remote satellite warehouse operations enable SEC’s technicians to express deliver parts and materials that may not be available in many of the remote oil and gas producing basins around the country.Focused on safe, efficient, compliant and reliable operations, SEC Energy’s OEM-qualified service technicians and experienced application engineers provide direct support to customer’s operations and their engineering staff.
