Generator proponents or new transmission load proposals should contact Vladimir Govorov, Operations Manager, Five Nations Energy Inc. (FNEI)

FNEI will follow a fast-track process that provides preliminary assessments and preliminary cost estimates to proponents.

The Preliminary Connection Estimate and the Preliminary Connection Cost Estimate are expenses that are recoverable from the generator and load proponent.

Generators or load that will connect to the FNEI system would then proceed to Final Assessment and Cost Recovery Agreements for FNEI system modifications and connection work.

Welcome to Five Nations Energy Inc. (FNEI).  FNEI is the Corporation behind the Omushkego Ishkotayo Project (Western James Bay Transmission Line Project), a 270 km long transmission line that services the remote Communities of Attawapiskat, Fort Albany, and Kashechewan.  FNEI is owned equally by Attawapiskat Power Corporation, Fort Albany Power Corporation, and Kashechewan Power Corporation.
