SEPA is an educational non-profit. We are a trusted platform for education, research and collaboration to help utilities deploy and integrate solar, storage, demand response, and other distributed energy resources.
Does SEPA advocate or take sides?
SEPA was created in 1992 and our neutrality is our strength. We do not advocate or take positions on issues, nor do we drive trends or play favorites. We have always believed that bringing all stakeholders to the conversation will yield real, practical solutions.
Who are SEPA's members?
We currently have over 1,000 members who represent the whole spectrum of industry stakeholders. Utilities, ISOs, large energy users, corporate and non-profits look to us to facilitate solutions for today’s challenges and to meet tomorrow’s electricity needs for the next decade and beyond.
SEPA provides its members with the latest research on solar and DER trends and other key topics that will help you gain the necessary knowledge in order to make the right decision on how to best engage with solar.
SEPA’s research team aims to find solutions to the pressing questions that you need answered. In addition, the research team, either on its own or in collaboration with one or more of SEPA’s well-respected research partners, releases reports on timely issues that are sure to be of help to a variety of solar stakeholders including utilities, private companies, or other interested parties.
