Cancor Mines Inc. is a Canadian mining company committed to the exploration and development of properties with high potential for precious and base metals. Cancor began its operations in 1989 and has amassed a portfolio of five significant properties in the mineral rich Abitibi region in Quebec, as well as four substantial gold bearing properties in the Hoggar region of southern Algeria. The Algerian properties are located in the Hoggar region, in the Sahara, 2,000 kms to the south of Algiers, the capital. They are located in a very favourable geological environment, similar to that of the Greenstone belt of Abitibi, and contain abundant gold mineralization at or near the surface.

Cancor Mines Inc. is a company established in Canada and engaged in the acquisition, exploration and development of  large mining  properties with high potential for  gold and base metals in Quebec´s Abitibi region and in the Hoggar region, in the south of Algeria.In Quebec, Cancor has two properties in an advanced stage of development. A preliminary economic assessment has been performed in regard to the Explo-Zinc deposit on the Kistabiche property. Future drill programs on the Gémini-Turgeon property will seek  to confirm identified mineralizations.In Algeria, Cancor has initiated geological exploration and extensive channel samplig on four important properties, all located in the Hoggar region. The Tan Chaffao West and Tan Chaffao East properties are projects with potential for gold and copper. The other two projects (In Ouzzal North and Tirek North) are located in proximity to a major gold bearing fault which host a gold deposit (Amessmessa)  which is now in production. Cancor is among the first North American companies to have acquired gold bearing properties in this area.
