Sirios Resources Inc.’s goal is to discover world-class gold deposits in the James Bay region of Quebec in eastern Canada. Sirios' efforts have led to the discovery of numerous gold and silver showings, some at very high grades, as well as occurences of other metals. Sirios owns several high potential projects such as Cheechoo, Aquilon and Pontax. The company's flagship project is the Cheechoo gold project which comprises 145 claims covering approximately 75 km² adjacent to the property of the Eleonore gold mine of Goldcorp.

The Prospectors and Developers Association of Canada (PDAC) established a framework for responsible exploration called E3 Plus. The E3 Plus serves as a framework for exploration companies to continue their activities while improving their environmental, social and health and safety performance as well as integrating these three aspects in all their exploration work. Sirios adopted the eight principals of E3 Plus and ask its consultants and suppliers to also respect them.Sirios' team conceives its own exploration projects from the start, from the scientific hypothesis up to field discoveries. Sirios' team works systematically and is aware of any new technological development concerning mining exploration. The discovery of geological formations which highlight the strong potential of under-explored regions remains a part of Sirios' strength.
