Gen4 Energy

Founded in 2007, as Hyperion Power Generation Inc., Gen4 Energy is a private company formed to commercialize the Gen4 Module, an advanced technology mini reactor. Based on intellectual property developed by scientists at Los Alamos National Laboratory and leveraging forty years of technological advancement, the Gen4 Module was designed to fill a previously unmet need for a physically small and transportable power source that is safe, clean, sustainable, and cost-efficient.

About the License

The United States’ Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL) has provided an exclusive license to Gen4 Energy for the Gen4 Module technology. Under the Technology Transfer Program, Gen4 Energy has the commercialization rights to introduce, license, manufacture, market and distribute the original Gen4 Module reactor technology invented at LANL.
