Galane Gold Ltd. is an unhedged gold producer and explorer with mining operations and exploration tenements in the Republic of Botswana and South Africa. We are committed to operating at world-class standards and are focused on the safety of our employees, respecting the environment, and contributing to the communities in which we operate. Galane Gold Ltd began trading on the Toronto Stock Exchange venture board in September 2011 after completing the acquisition of Gallery Gold Pty Ltd from IAMGOLD in August 2011. Gallery Gold Pty Ltd was an Australian publicly listed company previously but is now a private company. It is the 100% owner of Mupane Gold Mining (Pty) Ltd, a Botswana company that has been producing gold from the Mupane operation since 2005.In November 2015 Galane acquired Galaxy Gold LTD a South african company that is currently not operating but has the infrastructure is in place for us to recommence mining in a short period.The company is currently focused exclusively on its existing portfolio of production and exploration opportunities but continuously reviews other precious metals opportunities. It is the policy of the company when considering deploying capital to compare the risk-adjusted expected return to shareholders from any capital allocation to returning cash to shareholders via share buy-backs or dividends.
